Our church  group St Vincent the Paul of OLGC used to visit several nursing homes each month and  during the holiday season. this visit to Kinsmen Lodge on January 9 is more inspiring, singing Christmas carols, then spending time talking with the residents afterward. One of the things that touched me is how much the people need human interaction and a warm human touch. The nursing home residents were always excited to see us as they all assembled in the main room of the home, waiting to be entertained. And we always did our best. We would sing all the classic Christmas songs, and some church songs that I believe they much enjoyed.  I can see their wonderful sweet smiles to see us entertaining them and my cheerful heart is beaming with joy. What a wonderful experience and captivating. All members of our group are thrilled to see the residents sing together with us. - Constantino Delleva
